I delivered two wedding cakes today.  It was exciting but hard work.  The venue for the second reception was so serene and picturesque! Am happy to be a part of this special day for both brides.

Inspiration for this cake came from a photo the bride got online.  I am really happy with my interpretation.

Little Einstein

So, my son loves Little Einstein and asked me to make him a cake version for his birthday.  I was so thrilled because it is such a fun rocket they have.  I made him this cake and he actually wanted to carry it himself just to be sure that I wouldn't mess it I guess :)?  I felt very proud as a mum to be able to fulfill my little one's wish.  In life it is the little things that matter most and such moments are one of them for me.

You can have both.......if you are a set of twins :)!

This was half vanilla and half chocolate with buttercream and fondant figures.  The boys were thrilled with their cake :)

These two cakes were ordered by the same person!  The edible picture ripped when I tried to peel it off so I sort of cut it up and changed the design a bit.  I like how it turned out though :).

This was a simple but lovely two tier wedding fruit cake.  Was covered with fondant and decorated with royal icing.  The bride was to add her own flowers.
