Adinkra cake

This is now my all time favourite.  Chocolate and vanilla cake covered with fondant and adorned with 'adinkra' symbols.  Adinkra symbols play an important role in the Ghanaian Akan culture.  They have meanings which convey words of wisdom.  Since this cake was for the 78th birthday of a queen I thought it would be an appropriate theme.

70th Birthday cake

Am told the lady danced when she saw the cake. :) That is the reason why I put in the hours. lol!

Military tank cake and others

As a daughter of an ex-army officer I was more than thrilled when I got a request to do a military themed cake. Here is what I came up with. Congratulations new soldier!

This cake is for a very special boy.  I am priveleged to have the opportunity to do something for him.  I hope it puts a smile in his heart.  I pray for God's abundant grace on his life 24/7. Amen.

I made this cake for a nice lady who decided to give me free range to do a design of my choice.  I guess I really wanted the bag for moi. lol!

My birthday cake

So it came to pass that I finally celebrated my birthday in full!  We really had fun that evening and I thank my family and friends who made it possible.  As was to be expected everyone was eager to see the cake I made for myself! It so happens that I did not disappoint them at all! Here you are!

Super Heroes cake

My son requested a super heroes cake for his birthday so this is what I made him.  I had to alter the original design which included a batman because I literally worked on this cake whiles the party was going on. lol!

Rose birthday cake

Whilest making this cake I got comments like 'oh this is a beautiful wedding cake'.  I didn't know whether to be happy or sad because it was for a birthday! Lol.  Anyway, I know the lady who ordered this will be very happy because it is what she wanted. :)
